Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience! Create & Skate combines hands-on skateboard design with skateboarding education and community connection in one inspiring 2-hour workshop.

What Happens During the Event

We've designed this experience to be relaxed, creative, and engaging for everyone—from first-time painters to seasoned artists, and from skateboard beginners to experienced riders.

Check-In & Welcome (10:00 AM)
Start your experience with complimentary hot chocolate, apple cider, water, and fresh baked goods. Meet our team and get comfortable in our creative space.

Board Design Essentials (10:10 AM)
Learn the fundamentals of skateboard design before you pick up a brush. Our design experts will show you which areas of the board are "design-friendly" and which should stay clear so your artwork shines. Understanding the board's anatomy makes all the difference.

Tools & Materials Showcase (10:20 AM)
Tour our full setup of professional-quality materials:

• Premium paints and paint markers

• Rulers and stencils for precision work

• Brushes and application tools

• Everything you need to create

Your Creative Time (10:30 AM – 11:30 AM)
Paint your skateboard! Whether you're creating intricate geometric designs, abstract art, portraits, or freestyle expressions, our team is here to help and inspire. Work at your own pace in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Drying & Community Connection (11:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
While your board dries to perfection (30-45 minutes), stick around to:

• Learn skateboarding basics and setup tips from our experts

• Chat with other participants and our team

• Practice beginner skateboarding techniques

• Enjoy more refreshments and celebrate your creation

Special Opportunity: Hour Children Clothing Drive
We're partnering with Hour Children to support families in need. Bring clean, gently used clothing—especially coats—and make an impact. Donations welcome but not required.

• Event runs from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (your board dries during the last 30-45 minutes)

• Please arrive by 10:00 AM for check-in

• Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended

• All ages welcome (children under 12 should have a parent/guardian present)

• No prior art experience necessary

• No prior skateboarding experience necessary
